1530.26   EMISSION OF PARTICULATE MATTER FROM FUEL-BURNING EQUIPMENT.
   (a)   No person shall cause or allow to be emitted into the atmosphere from any fuel-burning equipment or premises, or to pass a convenient measuring point near the stack outlet, particulate matter in the gasses to exceed 0.40 pounds per 500,000 BTU heat input.
   (b)   The burning of refuse in fuel-burning equipment is hereby prohibited.
   (c)   All fuel-burning equipment existing prior to the effective date of this Air Pollution Code (Ordinance 221-70, passed July 19, 1971) must be in compliance with the limits in subsection (a) hereof by December 31, 1971.
