No wall of any frame, iron-clad or veneered-frame building shall be built nearer than the following distances to any lot line: walls without openings and not exceeding forty feet in length and twenty feet in height shall be eighteen inches from the lot line, to which distance six inches shall be added for each additional five-foot increase, or fraction thereof, in height or length of such wall.
