(a) Quality. All roofing tile shall be well-burned clay roofing tile.
(b) Underlay. The roof sheathing shall be covered with an underlay of thirty-pound asphalt-saturated felt.
(c) Flat Tile; Size and Exposure. Flat shingle tile shall be not less than seven-sixteenths of an inch thick and not more than nine inches wide, with a maximum exposure to the weather of one-half the length of the tile minus one inch.
(d) Interlocking and Curved Tiles. Interlocking tile and curved tiles shall be laid in a manner approved by the Building Commissioner.
