(a) Concrete shall be cured by the application of a curing compound immediately after finishing, according to the manufacturer's recommendation.

(b) Not sooner than ten days and not later than thirty days after pouring, concrete shall be treated with a sealer which is generally accepted and approved in the industry. However, as an acceptable alternative, a combination cure-seal compound may be applied immediately after pouring if the cure and seal compounds are compatible.
