1507.10 STANCHIONS.

Wherever supports are required under girders or trusses, the minimum requirement shall be a four-inch diameter steel or iron pipe fitted with steel or iron bearing plates at top and bottom. Adjustable posts shall not be approved for supporting main bearing beams in basements.
