1501.21   SITUATION PLAT; CONTENTS.
   Applicants for a building permit shall also file with the Building Commissioner, for permanent record, a plat of the lot or site upon which it is proposed to erect the building or structure. The plat shall show the location and dimensions of the lot, the subdivision and lot number thereof, the width of the streets, alleys or courtways upon which the lot or site abuts, the sidewalks and curb lines thereof, the location of any building or structure thereon or proposed buildings to be erected, and the correct location of all buildings and their extreme projection on the adjoining lot or lots within sixteen feet of the lot lines. The plat shall show the plan of the first story in heavy lines and shall show all projections in their extremes in broken lines. The plat shall give the figured dimensions of the body of the building, its extreme projections and the distance thereof from or to the adjoining street or lot lines and the nearest building or structure. The plat shall also show the proposed yard elevations at the sidewalk line, front building line and rear lot line and shall indicate the proposed height above or below the established sidewalk grade. All such plats shall be enclosed in a single heavy line, leaving a one-inch border or margin on all sides, oriented and lettered with the north point of the compass at the top of the sheet. They shall be drawn to such scale as the Commissioner shall direct.
