(a) A temporary occupancy permit for any building or tenant space requiring an occupancy permit may be issued upon payment of the fee prescribed in Chapter 185 of the Administrative Code to permit occupancy of such building or tenant space until all required work is completed for an occupancy permit.
(b) A partial occupancy permit for any other building or tenant space may be issued upon payment of the fee prescribed in Chapter 185 of the Administrative Code to permit the partial occupancy of such building or tenant space during construction in the remainder of the building or tenant space.
(c) The Building Commissioner may require a floor plan showing the limits of the area of such partial occupancy and may require barricades, temporary walls or other protection between the partial occupancy space and the construction area.
(d) A partial occupancy permit does not include permission for merchandise, occupant employees, customers or residents in any construction area beyond the limits designated by the Building Commissioner for partial occupancy, and the limitations of the partial occupancy permit shall remain in effect until final inspection and approval by the Building Commissioner of the alterations or construction.
