1501.106   OCCUPANCY PERMITS FOR COMMERCIAL AND OTHER STRUCTURES.
   (a)   This section shall apply to all buildings other than one, two or three-family dwellings and their accessory structures.
   (b)   No builder, owner or other person having control of property under construction or a proposed change in use group shall allow such property to be occupied until the same has been inspected and approved according to the requirements of the Ohio Basic Building Code, and a certificate of use and occupancy has been obtained. This is in addition to any certificate of compliance required by the Zoning Code.
   (c)   The Building Commissioner may issue a stop work order or stop use order for any work not in accordance with this Building Code. This Building Code includes the Ohio Basic Building Code, by reference, and also includes administrative requirements for contractor registration, permits and, by reference, zoning compliance requirements.
