753.02 PERMIT REQUIRED.

No person, corporation or other entity shall commence to drill or operate a new well for gas or oil, or deepen or modify an existing well for gas or oil, or the site upon which such a well is located, until a permit for such activity has been obtained as hereinafter provided from the Director of Public Safety.
