(a) For the purposes of this chapter, all permits shall terminate on December 31 of each calendar year and, except as provided in subsection (b) hereof, there shall be no prorating of any fee required by Chapter 185 of the Administrative Code (the General Fee Schedule).
(b) Whenever a fee is payable for a coin-operated amusement machine permit newly acquired during the course of a calendar year, the fee shall be prorated as follows:

April through June | 75% of the current annual fee |
July through September | 50%of the current annual fee |
October through December | 25% of the current annual fee |
This subsection notwithstanding the fee shall be a minimum of ten dollars ($10.00) for a partial calendar year.
