An adequately sized and separate recovery room or rooms in proximity to the operating facilities shall be provided. The recovery room shall contain adequate monitoring equipment, suction, oxygen and other related equipment required for cardiac resuscitation, including a defibrillator. Such room shall be staffed by qualified nursing personnel. An adequate number of recovery beds and/or rooms shall be provided to insure a minimum of three hours for the recovery of each patient.
