An abortion service shall provide facilities for registration, medical evaluation, examination and referral, equipped with suitable furnishings and accommodations, including waiting and dressing rooms and other appurtenances for the physical comfort and convenience of patients and personnel. Sufficient suitably equipped examining rooms shall be provided for the daily caseload. Nothing contained herein shall prohibit registration, interviewing, history-taking, medical examination and appropriate referral from being conducted in an existing prenatal, gynecological and/or family planning clinic.
