For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(a) “Facilities” means any place within the pet shop that a pet animal and/or customer has access to, including but not limited to cages.
(b) “Pet animal” means any animal sold or retained for the purpose of being kept as a household pet, including but not limited to dogs, cats, monkeys, other primates, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, snakes, iguanas, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, turtles, and any other vertebrate animal sold and/or retained for the purpose of being kept as a household pet.
(c) “Pet shop” means any store and or entity that offers for sale a pet animal(s).
