(a) In the event any person, required to register under the provisions of this chapter, shall change his place of residence, stopping place or living quarters to any new or different place within the City, other than the place last reported to the Bureau of Identification, such person shall, within twenty-four hours after removing himself from the place of abode first given, notify the Bureau of Identification, in a written and signed statement of such change of address and shall furnish in such written statement his new or different address, and each thereof. Such written and signed statement shall be delivered personally by the person required to register under the provisions of this chapter.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
