373.10   RIDING ON SIDEWALKS.
   (a)   No person shall operate a bicycle upon a sidewalk where signs are erected prohibiting such operation.
      (1)   The City's Safety Director maintains jurisdiction to allow erection of signs where he or she deems unsafe for bicycle operation.
   (b)   No person shall operate a motorized bicycle upon any public sidewalk, lane or walkway intended for pedestrian travel except:
      (1)   Motorized vehicles used by individuals with disabilities.
   (c)   Whoever violates any provisions of this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 303.99.
