Whenever a person has been convicted of an offense under this Traffic Code, other than a minor misdemeanor, and is sentenced to and imprisoned in the City of Parma Jail, the City of Cleveland House of Correction or the Cuyahoga County Jail, such person shall reimburse the City of Parma for its expenses incurred by reason of his or her confinement to the extent and in the manner set forth in Section 698.07 of the General Offenses Code. If such person has a household income from all sources during the previous twelve months in an amount less than 150 percent of the Federal Poverty Level, then no reimbursement shall be required.
