185.01   GENERAL PROVISIONS.
   (a)   Any person desiring to obtain a license or permit required under the provisions of these Codified Ordinances shall first obtain the signed permission of the responsible City official as listed herein, or his duly authorized representative, and then pay the fee as required herein to the Clerk of Licenses and Permits in the Treasurer's office.

   (b)   Whenever a person pays a fee, or portion thereof, under this chapter, by tendering a check therefor, and the check is subsequently dishonored for any reason, and such person either fails, upon notice from the Treasurer, to discharge his or her obligation by payment or satisfaction within ten days after receipt of such notice, or has previously presented a check for payment owed which was subsequently dishonored, the Treasurer shall charge such person a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

   (c)   (1)   Whenever a person pays a fee under this chapter by credit card, there shall be a 2% credit card transaction fee applied to the transaction through the Treasurer's Office.
      (2)   Said fee shall be deposited into Fund No. 001-040-General Fund-Treasurer's Office, Account No. 42029-Credit Card Handling Fee.
