173.20   BEREAVEMENT LEAVE.
   Any employee within the positions designated in Schedule "A" attached to original Ordinance 120-78, passed June 5, 1978, or in Schedule "A" attached to original Ordinance 33-80, passed February 18, 1980, or in Ordinances 105-78 and 106-78, passed April 17, 1978, or in Ordinance 23-80, passed February 18, 1980, or Ordinance 44-80, passed March 3, 1980, shall be entitled to a bereavement absence from his duties, which shall not be deducted from accumulated sick leave, as follows:
   (a)   In the event of the death of a spouse, child or parent, three days; and
   (b)   In the event of the death of a sister or brother or a current mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law or grandparent, one day.
