A. Different Chapters Or Articles: If the provisions of different chapters or articles of this code conflict with or contravene each other, the provisions of each chapter or article shall prevail as to all matters and questions growing out of the subject matter of such chapter or article. B. Same Chapter Or Article: If conflicting provisions are found in different sections of the same chapter or article, the most current provisions shall prevail unless such construction is inconsistent with the meaning of such chapter or article. (1988 Code § 1-4-4; amd. 2004 Code)
