§ 114.003 LICENSE FEE; EXPIRATION.
    The fee for any license required by this subchapter shall be $100 per person. Licenses issued pursuant to this subchapter shall expire on the last day of December following the date of issuance. License holders must register with the Paris Police Department before beginning their operation.

§ 114.004 APPLICATION; CONTENT; INVESTIGATION.
   (A)   Applications for licenses required by § 114.001 shall be on forms provided by the city. These forms shall require the following information of an applicant: name, signature, address, copy of driver’s license, number of vehicles, license plate numbers, employer’s name, and the kind of merchandise to be peddled.
   (B)   No license shall be issued until 3 days after application is made to the City Clerk. No such license shall be issued if the Police Department’s investigation shows that an applicant has, within the last 4 years, been convicted of violating any law or ordinance related to the use of sales or subscriptions methods involving fraud, misrepresentation, and false or misleading statements.

§ 114.005 HOURS OF OPERATION.
   The hours of operation for license holders under this subchapter shall be 9:00 a.m. to dusk. Any violation of hours of operation shall result in revocation of the license.

§ 114.006 FRAUD OR MISREPRESENTATION; REVOCATION.
   Any licensed peddler or solicitor who shall be guilty of any fraud, cheating, or misrepresentation, whether through himself or herself or through an employee, while acting as a peddler or solicitor in the city, or who shall barter, sell, or peddle any goods, wares, or merchandise other than those specified in his or her application for a license shall be subject to a fine, and the Mayor may revoke his or her license for such an offense.
