§ 151.85  ADOPTION.
   There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of ensuring the public health, safety and welfare insofar as they area affected by the continued occupancy and maintenance of structures and premises in the city, and to prevent blight and deterioration of neighborhoods, a property maintenance code known as the International Property Maintenance Code, First Printing 2003, published by the International Code Council, Inc. (ICC) with specific additions, deletions, modifications and amendments as hereinafter set forth. The provisions of said 2003 International Property Maintenance Code are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as set out at length, and the provisions thereof as added, deleted, inserted, modified and amended by § 151.86 shall be controlling in regard to all premises, buildings and structures within the corporate limits of the city. Not less than 1 copy of said Property Maintenance Code with the specified additions, deletions, insertions, modifications and amendments shall be filed and kept at the Office of the City Clerk of the city and at the Paris Public Library. As editions and amendments to the International Property Maintenance Code are officially adopted and published by the International Code Council (ICC), such new additions and amendments are hereby adopted by the City of Paris without further action by the City Council and such new editions and amendments shall be effective when published by the International Code Council (ICC), except for those sections which are specifically modified, amended or deleted by § 151.86.
