§ 151.40  INSTALLATION OF FACTORY-BUILT STRUCTURES.
   All factory-built structures or manufactured or modular homes, as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health, to be located in any district other than those currently zoned as "Nonconforming Use Sites," shall be constructed and installed in accordance with the applicable current regulations established by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Illinois Department of Public Health, along with the following additional requirements:
   (A)   All manufactured and modular housing must be placed upon a continuous closed permanent perimeter foundation consisting of mortared block or brick or poured concrete that extends below the frost line and actually supports and anchors the structure.
   (B)   All manufactured and modular housing must have a minimum 7-foot 6-inch (8-foot flat) sidewalls with residential standard windows.  Sidewalls shall be constructed with 2-inch by 4-inch minimum top plates.
   (C)   All manufactured and modular housing must have a vented roof with a minimum 5/12 pitch and boxed eaves.
   (D)   All manufactured and modular housing must  be furnished with rigid plumbing meeting the specifications of the Illinois Plumbing Code.  Flexible couplings will not be allowed.
   (E)   All manufactured and modular housing shall be placed with the main entry facing the adjacent street. In addition, placement shall be in accordance with all applicable zoning regulations for the real estate where the installation is to take place.
   (F)   All manufactured and modular housing shall have a minimum warranty from structural defect of 5 years.
   (G)   Any other applicable regulations of this chapter regarding building regulations and construction shall apply, and the owner must meet all other aspects of the chapter regarding permitting and the construction process.
