§ 51.089 EFFECTIVE DATE.

   The rates of service charges established for user charges in § 51.080 of this code shall be effective as of the next fiscal year beginning May and on bills to be rendered for the next succeeding month being June 1 for monthly users.

§ 51.090 NOTICE OF RATES.

   Each user will be notified by the city in conjunction with a regular bill, of the rate and that portion of the user charges or ad valorem taxes which are attributable to water treatment services.

§ 51.999 PENALTY.

   (A)   Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be subject to penalties as provided in § 10.99 of this code.

   (B)   Any person who shall continue any violation as set forth in § 51.064 of this code beyond the time limit provided for in that section, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined in the amount not exceeding $100 for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.

   (C)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of §§ 51.080 et seq. of this code shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500 for each offense, at the discretion of the full Council.
