(a) All new water services shall be metered. New services include, but are not limited to, water service in new construction of all types. All existing unmetered services and parts of major remodeling shall be metered.

(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a) hereof, approved fire line connections into the Village's water supply system, as referenced in Section 1046.32(d), shall not require a meter.
