Monument signs shall be located only:
(A) In front of businesses, as designated below.
(B) In front of shopping centers for the purpose of identifying the center.
(C) In front of business buildings in B District that are freestanding, separate from, and not attached by, common walls, continuous roof lines or fascias, or walls that abut each other.
(D) In front of business buildings that are located within shopping centers, that are freestanding, separate from, and not attached by, common walls, continuous roof lines or fascias, or walls that abut each other, except that the sign shall not exceed specifications as defined in § 93.130.
(E) No business building with 20 or less parking spaces (except gasoline service stations because of the unique character of the services provided) shall be allowed a monument sign that exceeds the specifications of § 93.130.
(F) One monument sign per classification as set out above.
(G) Base shall be landscaped on all sides, five feet from the base. It will be of evergreen variety.
(H) No portion of a monument sign shall be closer than five feet from any property line, and shall not obstruct the visibility of vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
