The mayor and city council are authorized to make such rules and regulations consistent with §§ 50.01 through 50.29 for the connections to the waterworks and sewage systems, and to amend the same from time to time. The regulations may specify the types and sizes of pipes and all the other appurtenances and extensions thereto.
