923.12 DISCHARGE OF CERTAIN SUBSTANCES INTO SEWERS PROHIBITED.
   Except as hereinafter provided, no person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any of the following waters or wastes into any public sewer:
   (a)    Any liquid or vapor having a temperature higher than 140° Fahrenheit or causing the temperature at the treatment plant to exceed 104° Fahrenheit.
   (b)    Any fats, oils, or grease that may cause or contribute to blockages in the sanitary sewer system.
   (c)    Any gasoline, benzene, naphtha, fuel oil or other flammable or explosive liquid, solid or gas.
   (d)    Garbage is a solid waste and shall not be shredded and discharged to the sanitary sewer.
   (e)    Any ashes, cinders, sand, mud, straw, shavings, metal, glass, rags, feathers, tar, plastics, wood, paunch manure or any solid or viscous substance capable of causing obstruction to the flow in sewers or other interference with the proper operation of the wastewater treatment system.
   (f)    Any waters or wastes having a pH lower than 5.5 or higher than 9.0 or having any other corrosive property capable of causing damage or hazard to structures, equipment and personnel of the wastewater treatment system.
   (g)    Any waters or wastes containing a toxic or poisonous substance in sufficient quantity to injure or interfere with any wastewater treatment process, or constituting a hazard to humans or animals, or creating any hazard in the receiving waters of the wastewater treatment plant.
   (h)    Any waters or wastes containing suspended solids of such character and quality that unusual attention or expense is required to handle such materials at the wastewater treatment plant.
   (i)    Any noxious or malodorous gas or substance capable of creating a public nuisance.
   (j)    Petroleum oil, non-biodegradable cutting oil, or products of oil origin in amounts that will cause interference or pass-through at the wastewater treatment plant.
   (k)    Wastewater that imparts color which cannot be removed by the treatment process including dye waste and animal tanning solutions which impart color to the wastewater system effluent, thereby violating the City of Oxford's NPDES Permit.
   (1)    Any trucked in or septic tank waste.
   (m)    Any pollutant(s) including BOD released in a discharge at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration which either singly, or by interaction with other pollutants, cause interference with the wastewater system.
