143 | 12-14-1936 | (A) The public thoroughfare in the city, now generally known as the Old Sparta Road, beginning where it joins the intersection of North Adams Street and Blanton Street, and running in a northwestern direction to the city limits, shall be designated as Pike Street. |
(B) The public thoroughfare in the city, now officially known and designated on the plat of said city as Bryan Alley, beginning at the western boundary of the Marston Subdivision of the city, as shown on the plat of said subdivision, and running in an easterly direction through said subdivision, and into and across the original town plat, passing on the north side of the public square, to its intersection with Bacon Alley opposite the city school grounds, shall be known as Bryan Street. | ||
(C) The public thoroughfare in the city, no officially known and designated as Van Alley, and beginning on the north of its intersection with Blanton Street, and running in a southerly direction, passing on the east side of the public square, to the southern boundary of lots 72 and 48 on the original southern boundary line of the city, as shown on the plat thereof, shall be designated as Court Street. | ||
(D) The public thoroughfare in the city, now generally known as the Becks Ridge Road beginning at its intersection with South Adams Street between the lots of J.P. Sidebottom and Lora Kemper, and running in an easterly direction to its intersection with the present town boundary line, shall be designated as Becks Street. | ||
(E) The public thoroughfare in the city, now generally known as Coon Alley, beginning at its intersection with Blanton Street and running in a northerly direction past Wood Alley, toward Pike Street, shall be designated as Lincoln Street. | ||
241 | 8-2-1954 | (A) The public thoroughfare in the city, now generally known as Old Sparta Road, and sometimes as Pike Street, beginning at its intersection with North Adams Street and Blanton Street, and running in a northwesterly direction to Roland Avenue, shall be designated as Rose Street. |
(B) The public thoroughfare in the city, now generally known as Bryan Alley, beginning at the western boundary of Marston Subdivision, and running in an easterly direction to its intersection with Bacon Alley, shall be designated as Bryan Street. | ||

(D) The public thoroughfare in the city, now generally known as Becks Ridge Road, beginning at its intersection with South Adams Street and running in a southwesterly direction to its terminus, shall be designated as Beck Street. | ||
(E) The public thoroughfare in the city, generally known as Cubbage Street or Slocum Road, beginning at its intersection with West Seminary Street, and running in a southerly direction to the city limits, shall be designated as Cubbage Avenue. | ||
(F) The public thoroughfare in the city, generally known as a part of the Panther Lick Pike or Culpepper Pike, and beginning at its intersection with West Seminary Street, intersecting with South Adams Street on the west side thereof, just north of the present residence lot of Floyd Gaines, shall be designated as Gaines Avenue. | ||
(G) The public thoroughfare in the city, intersecting with Blanton Street on the north side thereof, near Madison Street, and heretofore known as Jones Hill, Coon Alley, or Lincoln Street, shall be considered an extension of North Madison Street. | ||
257 | 4-23-1958 | Rose Avenue and that part of Adams Street extending south from Blanton Street to the triangle shall be designated as Main Street. |
