§ 152.05 EXISTING SIGNS.
   The provisions of this chapter shall not affect existing billboards, signboards, signs, banners, posters or advertisements. However, if same now are, or shall become unsafe, insecure, combustible, hazardous, dangerous, unsanitary or offensive to decency and public morals, the person, firm or corporation constructing, erecting, posting, placing, hanging, displaying or maintaining same, or upon whose property same are situated, may be required to remove or improve same, and shall become subject to the penalties provided herein. No existing billboard, signboard, sign, banner, poster or advertisement shall be hereafter constructed, erected, posted, placed, hanged, displayed or maintained in a new and different location without the securing of the permit provided in § 152.01 of this code, and the replacing of existing billboards, signboards, signs, banner, posters or advertisements with new ones shall also necessitate the securing of such a permit.
