§ 30.01 WARD LINES.
   The five wards of the city are hereby to be described as follows:
   (A)   First Ward. The portion of the city lying east of the following boundary: from the center of the intersection of Rose Street and the east city limits line west along the centerline of Rose Street to the center of its intersection with Willow Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Willow Avenue to the center of its intersection with Vine Street; thence westerly along the centerline of Vine Street to the center of its intersection with Grove Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Grove Avenue to the center of its intersection with Broadway Street; thence west along the centerline of Broadway Street to the center of its intersection with West Park Square; thence south along the centerline of West Park Square to the center of its intersection with Main Street; thence east along the centerline of Main Street to the center of its intersection with South Cedar Avenue; thence south along the centerline of South Cedar Avenue to the center of its intersection with School Street; thence east along the centerline of School Street to the center of its intersection with Harriet Avenue; thence southerly along the centerline of Harriet Avenue to the center of its intersection with South Street; thence easterly along the centerline of South Street to the center of its intersection with Lincoln Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Lincoln Avenue to the center of its intersection with Austin Road; thence southerly along the centerline of Austin Road to the center of its intersection with 18th Street SE; thence east along the centerline of 18th Street SE to the east city limits line;
   (B)   Second Ward. The portion of the city lying east of the following boundary: from the center of the intersection of 24th Avenue NE and the north city limits line south along the centerline of 24th Avenue NE to its intersection with 26th Street NE; thence southerly along the centerline of Kenyon Road to the center of its intersection with Mineral Springs Road; thence southwesterly along the centerline of Mineral Springs Road to the center of its intersection with Bigelow Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Bigelow Avenue to the center of its intersection with 14th Street NE; thence west along the centerline of 14th Street NE to the center of its intersection with North Elm Avenue; thence south along the centerline of North Elm Avenue to the center of its intersection with 11th Street NE; thence west along the centerline of 11th Street NE to the center of its intersection with North Cedar Avenue; thence south along the centerline of North Cedar Avenue to the centerline of its intersection with Broadway Street; thence easterly along the centerline of East Broadway Street to the center of its intersection with Grove Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Grove Avenue to the center of its intersection with Vine Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Vine Street to the center of its intersection with Willow Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Willow Avenue to the center of its intersection with Rose Street; thence east along the centerline of Rose Street to the east city limits line;
   (C)   Third Ward. The portion of the city lying west of the following boundary: from the center of the intersection of Union Pacific Railroad and the south city limits line northerly along the centerline of Union Pacific Railroad to the center of its intersection with School Street; thence east along the centerline of School Street to the center of its intersection with South Cedar Avenue; thence north along the centerline of South Cedar Avenue to the center of its intersection with Main Street; thence westerly along the centerline of Main Street to the center of its intersection with West Park Square; thence north along the centerline of West Park Square to the center of its intersection with Broadway Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Broadway Street to the center of its intersection with North Cedar Avenue; thence north along the centerline of North Cedar Avenue to the north city limits line;
   (D)   Fourth Ward. The portion of the city lying south of the following boundary: from the center of the intersection of Union Pacific Railroad and the south city limits line northerly along the centerline of Union Pacific Railroad to the center of its intersection with School Street; thence east along the centerline of School Street to the center of its intersection with Harriet Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Harriet Avenue to the center of its intersection with South Street; thence east along the centerline of South Street to the center of its intersection with Lincoln Avenue; thence southerly along the centerline of Lincoln Avenue to the center of its intersection with Austin Road; thence southerly along the centerline of Austin Road to the center of its intersection with 18th Street SE; thence east along the centerline of 18th Street SE to the east city limits line; and
   (E)   Fifth Ward. The portion of the city lying north of the following boundary: from the center of the intersection of 24th Avenue NE and the north city limits line south along the centerline of 24th Avenue NE to its intersection with 26th Street NE; thence southerly along the centerline of Kenyon Road to the center of its intersection with Mineral Springs Road; thence southwesterly along the centerline of Mineral Springs Road to the center of its intersection with Bigelow Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Bigelow Avenue to the center of its intersection with 14th Street NE; thence west along the centerline of 14th Street NE to the center of its intersection with North Elm Avenue; thence south along the centerline of North Elm Avenue to the center of its intersection with 11th Street NE; thence west along the centerline of 11th Street NE to the center of its intersection with North Cedar Avenue; thence northerly along the centerline of North Cedar Avenue to the north city limits line.
