§ 71.061 SIGNALS REQUIRED.
   Before turning or making a lane change, or changing the direction of any bicycle upon any street, highway, parkway or public place, the bicyclist shall give an arm signal to turn right or left continuously during the last 100 feet traveled before turning, changing lanes or direction, unless the bicyclist’s arm is needed to control the bicycle. The arm signal shall be given while the bicycle is stopped waiting to turn. To signal a left turn, the bicyclist shall extend the left arm straight out in the direction of the turn horizontally. To signal a right had turn, the bicyclist shall extend the left arm and hand upward or extend the right hand and arm horizontally to the right side of the bicycle.
