137.04 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR POLICE SPECIALS.

(a) The current policy of the Village regarding employment of its employees, to live within the 523 exchange, shall exclude the employment of Police Specials in the Ottawa Police Department.

(b) Consideration of the new policy will be taken case by case, on individual basis, upon the recommendation of the Police Chief for the Mayor’s appointment.
