•   Prevention activities
•   Special duty (hourly compensation at $15 per hour during extended events such as extended emergency calls, overnight station manning, etc.)
To qualify for payment, each of the above activities must have been approved by the Chief and/or Assistant Chief (including payable hourly compensation for extended events).
Annual merit payment between $0 and $500 based upon previous year’s evaluation which shall be determined by a rating provided by the Firefighter’s Committee based on completion of the Year End Performance Evaluation.
In addition thereto each firefighter shall be entitled to one uniform upon successful completion of probationary period with the Village as a Volunteer Firefighter. Additional uniforms may be provided upon the discretion of the Fire Chief.

   (n)   Payment of permanent, part-time or volunteer Fire Department personnel shall be from the Fire Levy Fund. In the event Fire Levy Fund resources are insufficient to meet payroll requirements, Fire Department personnel will perform their duties on a volunteer basis.
   (o)   All other Village employees shall be paid according to the following schedule:
