A. Definition: "Sponsorship" shall mean a special event: 1) that is managed or organized by the city, or by another person on the city's behalf, 2) funded in whole or in part by the city, 3) for which the city provides, at no cost, in kind services in support of the special event, or 4) for which the city has agreed to lend its name as a sponsor or cosponsor.
B. Sponsorship Decisions: A special event may be sponsored by the city upon approval by the city council in accordance with applicable sponsorship policies. (Ord. 919, 11-30-2011)
