§ 72.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whenever any vehicle is operated in violation of the provisions of §§ 72.01 and 72.03, the owner or driver of such vehicle shall be prosecuted for such violation. Any person charged with a violation of any of these provisions who pleads not guilty shall be present in court for the trial on the charge. Any person, firm or corporation convicted of any violation of §§ 72.01 and 72.03, shall be fined according to the following schedule, in addition to any court mandated fees:

   (B)   The violation of any provision of § 72.02 shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $750. Each and every day the violation exists will constitute a separate and distinct offense.
   (C)   Any person convicted of any violation of §§ 72.15 and 72.16 and §§ 72.20 through 72.24 shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $750 or for total actual costs incurred plus 15%, whichever is greater, for each violation.
   (D)   Unless the driver of the motor vehicle cited for an automated traffic law violation received a uniform traffic citation from a police officer at the time of the violation, the owner of the motor vehicle is subject to a penalty of $100 per violation. In the event that such penalty is not paid within 14 days after service of a violation notice, the penalty shall increase to $200.
   (E)    Any person who violates § 72.25(B) shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100, provided however, that if a violation occurs at the time of traffic accident, the driver shall be subject to a fine of not less than $500.
