Any person who is aggrieved by a decision involving signs by any administrative official of the city may appeal that decision as follows:
A. Decisions involving application or interpretation of provisions involving design and construction standards under chapter 2 of this title, application of the building code or the current electrical code, or any sign projection or clearance requirements, appeal may be made to the board of building and fire code appeals;
B. Decisions involving permit fees, safety regulations adopted pursuant to section 18-1-7 of this chapter or the use of public property under chapter 4 of this title, appeals may be made in accordance with title 4, chapter 4, article A of this code;
C. Decisions involving the imposition of civil penalties, appeals may be made in accordance with title 1, chapter 4, article B of this code.
D. All other decisions, appeal may be made to the board of zoning adjustment.
