§ 50.005 CONSUMER'S LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY.
As herein used, the consumer and property owner are one and the same.
   (A)   Consumer's responsibility commences at utility's delivery point. The consumer shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all wiring, equipment and other electrical appurtenances up to the utility's delivery point as defined in § 50.004. The consumer shall also be responsible for the utilization of all electric service delivered to the consumer by the utility at the delivery point and as further set forth in § 50.004(B).
   (B)   The consumer shall be responsible for all electricity used on the premises occupied by him or her and his or her service contract or application until reasonable notice has been given by him or her at the utility's office to discontinue the supply of electric service. Such discontinuance of service shall in no way relieve the consumer or property owner of the responsibility of payment of bills as specified in §§ 50.003, 50.006 and 50.073 and elsewhere in these general rules and regulations.
