The Hotel, Convention and Visitors Committee shall be a committee of the Village Board and shall have no independent authority but shall serve strictly as a recommendatory body and with only these powers expressly delegated to it. The committee may expend no monies except as expressly approved in the Village's budget and appropriation ordinance and only upon prior approval by the Corporate Authorities. (Ord. G-452, 9-25-1990)
