The existing Plan Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Planned Development Commission are hereby dissolved. A new Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby created consisting of a chairperson and eight (8) other members to be appointed by the village president subject to confirmation by the board of trustees; each of the nine (9) members to serve respectively for the following terms: two (2) for one (1) year, two (2) for two (2) years, two (2) for three (3) years, two (2) for four (4) years, and one for five (5) years, the successor to each member so appointed to serve for a term of five (5) years.
