A. The oversight committee shall determine policy related to and direct the enforcement of this title.
B. The director or the administrator shall have the authority and responsibility for the administration of this title. In performing his or her duties, the administrator may delegate routine responsibilities to any named designee.
C. The village shall remain solely responsible for its standing in the NFIP and for:
1. Maintaining records and submitting reports required for the NFIP, including elevation certificates, floodproofing certificates, and lowest floor elevations; and
2. Notifying the director, and if required FEMA, OWR, USACE, the Illinois environmental protection agency, and the United States environmental protection agency of any proposed amendment to this title. (Ord. G-976, 7-24-2012)
