3-2-5: DEPARTMENTAL FEES:
   A.   Emergency Medical Services: As the Village, through its Fire Department, currently provides emergency medical service to the Village, and the Corporate Authorities of the Village deem it appropriate to impose a user charge for such service in order to defray partially the cost to the Village of providing such service, the following fees shall be charged for the identified emergency medical services listed below:
      1.   Response To Call, Treatment And Transport: A fee of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) is hereby imposed upon any person receiving emergency medical service and an additional fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per mile is hereby imposed upon any person for transportation from the point of pick up to the hospital.
      2.   Response To Call, Treatment Without Transport: A fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) is hereby imposed upon any Village resident receiving emergency medical services without transportation; and a fee of five hundred   dollars ($500.00) is hereby imposed upon any non-resident receiving emergency medical services without transportation.
      3.   Response To Call, Citizen Assists: The following fees are hereby imposed on an annual (calendar year) basis for response to a call to assist a patient:

   4.   Response To Call, Refusal Of Treatment: The following fees are hereby imposed on an annual (calendar year) basis for response to a call for emergency medical services, whereby treatment is then refused by the patient:

   B.   Extrication Fee: In addition to the fees required pursuant to subsections A and C of this section, when members of the Fire Department are required to use hydraulic, gas powered, electric powered, air powered, or any other specialized rescue equipment to remove a resident or nonresident from a vehicle or other structure, such person shall pay the Village an additional service fee of three hundred dollars ($300.00).
   C.   Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation And First Aid Classes: The Village, through its Fire Department, currently provides cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid instruction to interested persons, and the Corporate Authorities of the Village deem it appropriate to impose a user charge for such service in order to defray partially the cost to the Village to provide such service. Fees, as determined by the Village Board or such other fee established by the Village Manager upon consultation with the Village Board are imposed per the table below:

   E.   Public Education: The Village, through it's Fire Department, currently provides building evacuation programs, fire extinguisher training, fire drills and severe weather preparedness to interested persons, and the corporate authorities of the Village deem it appropriate to impose a user charge for such services in order to defray partially the cost to the Village to provide such services. Fees, as determined by the Village Board or such other fees established by the Village Manager upon consultation with the Village Board, are imposed per the table below:
