SECTION 5.06. DEPARTMENT OF SERVICE.

The Director of Service of the City shall perform, except as otherwise provided by ordinance, the functions assigned generally to officers of similar title by general law and such other duties not inconsistent with his/her office as may be assigned to him/her by ordinance or by the Chief Executive Officer.
