SECTION 2.02. QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY.

   Any person who has resided for at least two (2) continuous years in the City or in territory annexed thereto, prior to the date of the filing of his/her declaration of candidacy, and who on such date possesses all of the qualifications and has met all the conditions provided by law to entitle him/her to vote, shall be qualified for election to the office of Mayor.
