Any person, firm or corporation performing work in the City without having a current and valid registration certificate may be ordered to stop all work in progress by the Superintendent of Building and Zoning and/or his or her assignees until proper registration and insurance is obtained. The Superintendent of Building and Zoning and/or his or her assignees may, if the condition or situation warrants, obtain the assistance of other governmental agencies in the enforcement of this section.
