Until registered, no contractor or subcontractor required to be registered may undertake any regulated work or improvement within the City. Any contractor or subcontractor notified of failure to register who immediately stops work and chooses to register may complete a form provided by the Building Department and pay a processing fee of twice the registration cost. Any person, firm, or corporation who fails to register when notified shall be subject to any additional charges and penalties otherwise provided herein.
