EDITOR'S NOTE: This chapter was previously titled “Commission of Taxation.” It was repealed by implication by the adoption of the City Charter on November 3, 1981, which makes no mention of a Commissioner of Taxation. Ordinance 95-31, passed July 13, 1995, re-enacted this chapter by establishing the position of Tax and Revenue Director.
Ordinance 96-9, passed April 25, 1996, combined the positions of Finance Director and Tax and Revenue Director into one position, to be known as the Finance and Revenue Director, and Ordinance 96-18, passed June 27, 1996, repealed Chapter 238 in its entirety. See Section 236.01.
