(a) The owner or operator of an off-site infectious waste treatment facility shall pay the fee set forth in Section 840.02 monthly to the Finance and Revenue Director. The owner or operator shall remit the fee. The remittance shall be accompanied by a return indicating the total amount of infectious waste received at the facility for treatment during the month to which the return applies. If a monthly return and remittance of fees are not submitted to the City Clerk within sixty days after the last day of the month to which the return and remittances apply, or within sixty days after the date otherwise established in rules adopted under Ohio R.C. 3734.026, the owner or operator shall pay a penalty of an additional fifty percent of the remittance for each month that payment is late.
(b) The money received by the City Clerk shall be paid into the General Fund of the City.
(c) No owner or operator of an off-site infectious waste treatment facility shall violate or fail to comply with this section or a rule adopted under authority of this section.
