All permits shall be effective for a maximum period of 120 days with one extension of thirty days. All work shall be promptly commenced and performed without any unnecessary or undue delay. Excavations in the public rights- of-way shall comply with Chapter 1020 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Royalton. Excavations shall not be allowed to remain in an open condition for any period longer than is reasonable or necessary to expeditiously complete the work and in any event not longer than thirty-two consecutive hours.
