Storm and sanitary sewer service connections shall be laid at a minimum gradient of twelve inches per one hundred feet of service connection sewer; i.e. one-eighth of an inch per foot. The minimum gradient may be exceeded, with approval of the City Engineer, but under no circumstances shall a service connection be laid at a lesser gradient.
