1482.07 LIGHTING.
   (a)   If a flood light or other artificial light is used to illuminate a pool at night, such light shall not be used after 11:00 p.m. if the pool is located within 200 feet of any building used for dwelling purposes. The light shall also be shielded to direct light on the pool only.
   (b)   Lighting for residential swimming and/or wading pools shall be adequate for the protection of the public as may be determined by the Building Commissioner. All wiring and lighting shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code, as adopted in Chapter 1424, and all fixtures and equipment shall be UL approved.
